Does this phone work with my provider?

All phones and tablets sold on our website are network unlocked.

Below is a list of compatible Australian Network Frequencies currently supported by Telstra, Optus and Vodafone. If your device is compatible with one of these frequencies, it will be compatible with the associated provider.

We list supported frequencies (also called network bands) on a product's listing.

2G networks will give you basic call and text usage.
3G networks will provide you with access to data usage, such as internet connectivity.
4G networks are a much faster version of the 3G models.

2G - Mobile Networks
900Mhz - Optus, Vodafone, Kogan Mobile
1800Mhz - Optus, Vodafone

3G - Mobile Networks
850Mhz - Telstra, Vodafone
900Mhz - Optus, Vodafone, Kogan Mobile
2100Mhz - Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Kogan Mobile

4G - Mobile Networks
700Mhz - Telstra, Optus
850Mhz - Vodafone, Kogan Mobile
1800Mhz - Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, Kogan Mobile
2100Mhz - Telstra

Please Note: Telstra, Optus and Vodafone are the only 'true' network providers. Other networks such as Boost, Virgin and amaysim are virtual networks, and run off a parent provider such as the three 'true' networks above.

This means that any phone that is compatible with the parent network, will also be compatible with the virtual network.

Please Note: 2G frequencies in Australia are in the process of being switched off. By the end of 2017, the three network providers are not scheduled to offer 2G network anymore.
