Blackberries in syrup, rosemary stem and dried gum leaf. Ribena and cassis. Licorice bullets, mocha and clove studs. Fruit is concentrated and youthful on the palate with fresh-picked black cherry and plum skin. There is a swathe of lively acidity and fine-grained tannins. Tobacco pouch, cedar and pencil lead. Excellent drinking but will age gracefully for another decade.
