Designed for use with the Brother Dual Feed MuVit Foot, the Brother Stitch in the Ditch Attachment helps provide more efficient feed movement and prevents puckering or pinching of the fabric. This foot is designed for quilting, garments, and other projects that require concealed seams. It rides smoothly over the seam, helping to ensure your stitching remains more perfectly aligned while you ‘stitch in the ditch’. It is also useful for quilt binding.
In order to use this guide, a Brother Dual Feed MuVit Foot or Compact Dual Feed MuVit Foot is required. This attachment has a mechanism that feeds the top fabric while also feeding the bottom fabric. If your machine was not supplied with either Dual Feed MuVit Foot, it may be purchased separately as an optional accessory.
