With The Authority now policing the Wildstorm Universe it seems as if there is no longer any need for a StormWatch team. However, Ben Santini believes differently. Santini was the former Director of Operations at International Operations. He was once wounded by a S.P.B. (Super-Powered-Being) and has held a grudge against them ever since. He puts together a new StormWatch team called Team Achilles with the intent to keep an eye on the superpowered populace. But with almost no funding and a team of mostly non-superpowered humans, Team Achilles has all the chips stacked against them. So they must rely on their wits and perhaps a little luck, in order to survive.
