The F31, the second generation Leopard, was introduced in February 1986 after a full model change of the previous F30 series. While sharing the same basic design as the R31 Skyline of the same generation, three types of engines (VG30DE, VG20ET, and VG20E) were available, and five types of grades were offered. Among them, the Ultima had advanced special equipment such as auto light system, electronic power steering, 4WAS, super sonic suspension, etc. It had enough presence as the highest grade and established Leopard’s unique character.
