Matilda’s Own Drunkard’s Path template sets are great for both hand and machine piecing. The see-through fibre optic plastic allows you to “fussy cut” your prints for beautiful blocks. To fussy cut, place the required template over a selected print or flower, centre as necessary, then trace/cut. If sewing by machine use a mechanical pencil to mark in the holes in the templates. If sewing by hand, use a mechanical pencil and Quarter Plus ™ tool to mare in the seam allowance at the holes in the templates.

When piecing together make sure to math the curve marks, sew slowly and pin lots. Once your blocks are together, have a play with the settings; you’ll come up with some interesting blocks by changing light and dark pie pieces and twisting the blocks quarter turn.
