With the anchor pad below the knee and the strap helicaly pulling up the knee limit the internal rotation (inward twist) of the lower leg, that is likely to place the strain on the knee during running. (patent pending )

How to select proper size of the RK-1

Measure the circumference of the calf 5 cm below the center of the kneecap. If your measurement falls between two sizes, choose the larger one. Specify left or right.
