It works straight out of the box - nothing to assemble, and looks good. The friction adjustments which hold the angle you desire need to be strongly rotated, or they tend to slip a little. And you need to avoid putting your fingers in the wrong spot under the arms when rotating right back to avoid them being pinched, but you quickly learn this."
